Fort Worth’s Waterside Development Nearing Completion

Fort Worth’s Trinity Trails area is getting a new addition – Waterside, a multi-use development that includes retail, dining, and residential and office space, is nearly complete, and several tenants are already open for business. This unique retail community is sure to be a popular addition to southwest Fort Worth.

Located on the corner Bryant Irvin Road and Arborlawn Drive, Waterside has been developing into a unique retail destination. REI Co-op opened its first Fort Worth location earlier this year, becoming the first Waterside retailer to open their doors. Also currently open are Mattress Firm, Zoë’s Kitchen, and, new this week, Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza. They will soon be joined by restaurants like Tokyo Joe’s and Piattello Italian Kitchen, and retailers like Massage Heights, Sur La Table, and the highly-anticipated Whole Foods Market, its first store in Fort Worth.

Waterside is rapidly approaching completion – in addition to an expected 175,000 square feet of retail and dining options, plans are in place for a public event space, 20 acres of townhomes and multi-family residences, 20,000 square feet of office spaces, and a hotel. Visitors have already begun to flock to this new retail community, and Waterside is certain to only become more popular in the coming months.
